On January 17, ZHGAS successfully held its 2024 Annual Summary & Commendation Ceremony, and Spring Festival Gathering in Chaohu. Company leaders and employees gathered to collectively review the journey of 2024, summarize experiences, and commend outstanding teams and individuals.
Assistant GM Song Yanqi reported on the 2024 performance of its two subsidiaries: Guizhou Zhongke revitalized operations via technological upgrades, improving efficiency and employee welfare. Xinjiang Zhongke Energy has established a production-to-service model for LNG and activated carbon, and secured strong financial backing from various institutions.
Deputy GM Yang Shaojun highlighted significant achievements across business, marketing, and R&D departments. Business targets were exceeded, and marketing efforts, including a website revamp, enhanced the company's image. R&D department secured patents and various certifications, such as intellectual property management and provincial enterprise technology center. Besides, new ventures in carbonaceous waste and biomass gasification laid foundations for future growth.
Chief Engineer Liu Jiapeng reported key department progress: Design department boosted efficiency and quality through standardization; Audit department strengthened compliance and financial control; and the new Asset Management Department optimized material management, yielding cost savings.
Deputy General Manager Meng Guangjun detailed significant progress and achievements across departments. The Engineering Department advanced construction efforts, notably enhancing team capabilities and technical proficiency. Procurement Department optimized processes and strengthened supplier relations, leading to improved efficiency and reduced costs while ensuring equipment quality and supply stability. Operations & Maintenance Department successfully completed multiple project commissioning tasks, improving operational efficiency, controlling costs, and ensuring quality. The Production Department achieved substantial year-on-year equipment productivity gains, supporting key project implementation.
General Manager Yu Kuangshi summarized the company's stable and positive business performance, underscoring the critical importance of talent development and technological R&D. The company optimized its team structure through continuous talent acquisition and systematic training, increasing "highly educated" and "highly skilled" professionals and cultivating future technical talent. In innovation, the intellectual property system was strengthened with multiple patents approved and applied, and significant new product development opened new business areas. He outlined a three-year strategic path via innovation, business expansion, and mechanism optimization, urging all employees to seize opportunities and collectively propel the company to new heights.
