In the context of the ongoing global energy transition, biomass energy, as a clean and renewable energy source, is progressively becoming a vital force driving the green energy transformation. From December 25th to 27th, 2024, the 2024 China International Coal (Biomass) Gasification Conference was held in Xiamen, Fujian Province. ZHGAS was invited to attend the conference and received the "Starlight Award" trophy.
On the 26th, Yang Shaojun, Deputy General Manager of ZHGAS, delivered a keynote report titled "CGAS Circulating Fluidized Bed Coal/Biomass Gasification Technology for Syngas and Industrial Fuel Gas System Solutions." He detailed the innovative research and development and industrialization process of CGAS circulating fluidized bed gasification technology. Focusing on the core advantages and application characteristics of CGAS technology, he shared the company's journey of technological development, industrial application, and promotion of this technology in the fields of coal and biomass gasification.
Regarding coal gasification, Yang Shaojun introduced ZHGAS's technological innovations and industrial explorations in fields such as ammonia synthesis and industrial gas. He demonstrated the effectiveness of CGAS technology's industrial applications in coal gasification through high-quality project achievements, including the Xinjiang Yihua Coal Gasification project, the Indonesia Xiangsheng CGAS project, and the East Hope Sanmenxia CGAS project. This fully showcased CGAS technology's significant advantages such as strong coal adaptability, low energy consumption and cost, and low three-waste emissions, along with its industrial application highlights of economic rationality, remarkable energy saving, and clean environmental protection.
In the area of biomass gasification, Dr. Yang shared the applications of CGAS technology in biomass gasification for fuel gas production, and biomass pure oxygen gasification for green methanol/jet fuel feedstock gas production. He also briefly introduced ZHGAS's pilot-scale experimental research and industrial demonstration projects for the gasification of various agricultural and forestry wastes. The presentation drew keen interest from attendees, prompting delegates to visit ZHGAS's exhibition booth post-event for in-depth technical exchanges and exploration of collaboration opportunities."
ZHGAS, as a leading enterprise in the industrialization of the CAS’s "Hongguang Special Project," has consistently adhered to technological innovation that closely aligns with industrial development needs. While facilitating the transformation of scientific research achievements into tangible productivity, it also promotes the green, low-carbon, and high-quality development of the coal and biomass industries.
