To align with national quality and safety policies and the theme of China’s 41st National Quality Month, ZHGAS Engineering Department launched a campaign under the guiding principles of "Safety First, Prevention Foremost, Comprehensive Governance" and "Quality Above All in Century Projects."
Strengthening Quality & Safety Systems
Leveraging the Quality Month initiative, ZHGAS organized site-wide activities to enhance safety awareness, standardize quality management, and refine its project quality management system.
Comprehensive Safety Inspections & Training
ZHGAS conducted full-scale safety inspections and employee training programs to advance its safety. Through self-inspections at project sites and enterprise self-inspection, potential hazards were systematically identified, responsibilities clarified, and corrective measures enforced. Key actions included:
Self-Inspections: Each project site conducts comprehensive self-inspections, adhering to the principle of "inspection coupled with rectification". Identified hazards must be thoroughly addressed; for critical risks requiring delayed resolution, emergency measures and enhanced monitoring are implemented.
Enterprise self-inspection: Building on self-inspections, the Engineering Department oversees safety compliance through rigorous audits. Key actions include: Strengthening inspection intensity; Proposing rectification measures for identified issues; Promptly escalating findings to senior leadership; Highlighting recurring risks and reinforcing the importance of safety protocols across all project teams.
Zero-Tolerance for Risks
"This inspection covered all ongoing projects of the company, conducting thorough, gap-free checks to promptly identify and rectify quality and safety issues, ensuring closed-loop management. Especially ahead of major holidays, when relaxed state of mind is more likely to arise, we leveraged the 'Quality Month' campaign to enforce strict inspections and foster proactive prevention."
Multi-Dimensional Improvement
The quality and safety inspection, the project department should be practical from the personnel thinking, quality and safety and norms and standards and so on several aspects of the effort, a comprehensive investigation of construction weaknesses, to eliminate quality and safety hazards, a deep dissection of the root causes of the problem and the organization of real-time notification of the problems inspected and ordered to make rectification in a limited period of time.
