CGAS circulating fluidized bed coal gasification technology has passed expert technical evaluation organized by the Environmental Development Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
Key conclusions:
• Recognized as clean production technology.
• Successfully applied in syngas and industrial gas production with established market scale.
• Demonstrates promising application prospects.
• Enables efficient and stable gasification of low-rank/ inferior coal.
• Aligns with national policies on modern coal chemical industry and clean production.

"CGAS circulating fluidized bed coal gasification technology" was selected as the sole technology in the fourth batch for inclusion in the National Eco-Environment Scientific Achievement Transformation Platform.

The Xinjiang Yihua project, a representative case of atmospheric circulating fluidized bed coal gasification for syngas production, was certified by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.
The appraisal committee unanimously concluded that:
• The technology has reached internationally advanced level overall.
• Achieves world-leading performance in high-alkali coal gasification.
• Significantly contributes to developing Xinjiang's high-alkali coalresources and boosting local economy.
