On May 10, the First 2018 Board of Directors and Shareholders’Meeting of CAS Hefei Gasification Technology Co., Ltd. was successfully convened. The meeting was chaired by Yuan Shiwu, Chairman of the Board. Attendees included Dai Wengang, Deputy Director of the Anhui Chaohu Economic Development Zone Management Committee, and Lv Qinggang, Deputy Director of the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).

Recently, the "Zhonghe Gasification" trademark applied for by CAS Hefei Gasification Technology Co., Ltd. has been formally accepted and approved by the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC).

On January 26, the conference room of CAS Hefei Gasification Technology Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Zhonghe Gasification") was filled with vibrant energy as the company held its 2017 Annual Review Conference under the theme "Looking Ahead, Embarking on a New Journey". All employees attended to review the achievements of 2017, analyze lessons learned, and outline development plans for 2018.

Recently, the 2016 Hefei Chaohu Economic Development Zone (HCEDZ) selection of high-level innovative and entrepreneurial talents and teams was announced. CAS Hefei Gasification Technology Co., Ltd. was successfully recognized as a "2016 HCEDZ Industrial Innovation Team", and Yu Kuangshi, General Manager of the company, was appointed as the leader of the Zone’s Industrial Innovation Team Development Program for "New Clean and Efficient Coal Gasification Technology".

September 28, 2017 marked the first anniversary of the establishment of CAS Hefei Gasification Technology Co., Ltd. To reflect on past achievements and plan for the future, the company held a grand anniversary celebration from September 28 to 29, attended by all employees from its Hefei headquarters and Beijing branch. Chairman of the Board Yuan Shiwu and Wang Yehua, Director of the Energy Office of Hechao Economic Development Zone, were also invited to the event.

In August 2017, CAS Hefei Gasification Technology Co., Ltd. and the UCAS Education Foundation (affiliated with the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences) signed the Donation Agreement and the Memorandum of the "CAS Hefei Gasification Education Fund" in Beijing, based on the principles of equality and voluntary participation.
