This year, the Mid-Autumn Festival coincides with the National Day holiday, bringing both festivals together. In this season for national and family reunions, ZHGAS project sites are bustling with activity.

This year, the Mid-Autumn Festival coincides with the National Day holiday, bringing both festivals together. In this season for national and family reunions, ZHGAS project sites are bustling with activity.

The indirect cooling upgrade projects for fixed-bed gasification at Jinmei Tianyuan, Jinmei Jinxiang, Jinmei Jinfeng, and Lanhua Kexiang are new deep industrial kiln treatment projects undertaken by ZHGAS this year. Leveraging its many years of experience in the development, design, and operation of dry cooling and purification systems, ZHGAS has innovatively developed a set of indirect cooling technologies suitable for intermittent fixed-bed retrofitting. This technology integrates widely validated cyclone pre-dedusting, dry dedusting, and indirect cooling techniques to form an integrated process for coal gas dedusting, purification, and indirect cooling. It not only recovers coal gas dust but also addresses the high pollution issues associated with direct cooling circulating water. The dust content in the treated clean coal gas will be less than 10mg/Nm3, and the separated dust is transported to the plant's ash silo via pneumatic conveying. Ammonia nitrogen components in the condensate are recovered as ammonia water through an ammonia stripping system.

These projects represent crucial tasks for the owners in actively implementing national and local government environmental policy requirements for the renovation of gasification circulating water systems. With tight construction schedules and heavy workloads, project personnel have rapidly mobilized to accelerate construction progress. Currently, civil engineering work is fully underway, and steel structure construction is proceeding in an orderly manner. On-site designers are adjusting and refining design plans based on collected as-built drawings of original units and actual site conditions. They are fully committed to completing major engineering construction before the planned overhaul, ensuring timely connection with subsequent sections.

The Xiamen Xiangzheng Circulating Fluidized Bed Oxygen-Enriched Coal Gasification Project is ZHGAS's first overseas venture. It involves the construction of a gasification plant for a local integrated stainless steel smelter with an annual output of 2.5 million tons. The plant is designed to feature eight ZHGAS circulating fluidized bed gasifiers, each with a single-unit capacity of 80,000 Nm3/h. Currently, the two gasifiers required for the first phase are undergoing single-unit trial operation of their electrical equipment. Commissioning personnel have completed their isolation observation and are now on-site, beginning preparations for the low-temperature drying of the furnaces.

The Guizhou Hongsheng Ammonia Synthesis Fixed-Bed Gasification Section Renovation Project and the Xinjiang Yihua Coal Gasification Unit Project are both new coal gasification unit construction projects applied in the ammonia synthesis industry. They are circulating fluidized bed gasification units that use anthracite and high-alkali coal as raw materials, respectively. The successful operation of these two projects fully demonstrates the strong adaptability of CGAS technology to different coal types, providing economical and practical solutions for technological upgrading of small and medium-sized ammonia synthesis enterprises. In September, the Hongsheng and Yihua projects successively entered the trial production phase, with load and various performance indicators steadily improving. The projects have now completed system operation verification and are currently collaborating with the owners on performance optimization to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.

This year, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the progress of all projects has been affected to varying degrees. To catch up on the schedule, colleagues at various projects chose to stay on the front line and dedicate themselves to the construction site during the double festivals. While ensuring safety and quality, they are pushing for progress and efficiency, doing their utmost to advance the construction of all projects. ZHGAS's middle and senior management also sacrificed time with their families, staying at various project sites alongside front-line employees to spend this unique double festival holiday. It is only through hardship that courage is revealed, and only through diligent action that value is demonstrated. It is precisely because of such a resilient and united team that ZHGAS has gradually grown into a "rising star" in the industry, progressively earning market recognition and client trust.
